Well our Princess Millie got a fantastic birthday present today - we have a slab! Very exciting! :)

I'm so excited to have Old Dutch Foods Potato Chips as our Official Sponsor for a third year in a row.

We are excited to see that every day something new has appeared or happened. Cant wait for the slab and frame but so far we have pipes!

The Beginning of the Build

We were very happy to drive past our block today and see that the building has begun as scheduled! The site cut has started - there are retaining walls and so on still to be done. But we think it looks great and now we can see the outline of our house!

We also have been in contact with Carlisle a fair bit over the last few days and found out yesterday that our Ceasarstone bench top is no longer in production. Luckily Dave had the day off today to get our car serviced, so we went and had another look - don't like any as much as what we picked but have narrowed it down to two - decisions decisions!!!!!!!!!!

Site Start!

Well our building permit came through last week and now we have an approximate site start of July 9th - cant wait so excited!! So far we are down for a site cut starting the 9th, followed by drains on the 19th and slab pour on the 26th - so hopefully we will have some photos to post REALLY SOON! Stay tuned!!!!
