Roof is almost done!

Should finish the roof today!

Almost have another side of the house finished.

Started the siding on the back porch! Can't finish until we pick out the doors.

Plumber has started and he will be ready for sinks, toilets, showers, baths on Thursday...to bad we don't have them picked out yet!

Things are coming right along. The builder said he will be finished in two more months if we don't hold him up...I guess he was giving us a hint to get on the stick!

They finished the ceiling on the back porch and they are just waiting to hang the ceiling fans.

They are suppose to finish the cieiling on the front porch. Electricians should come tomorrow and finish running the electric. The plumber came yesterday, but got sick and went home. We are suppose to be in the 100's today and through the weekend so I am guessing there won't be much work getting done! Got to love summer in the South!

And the color is....

The poor new guy on the crew got stuck sweeping the house...It looks fantastic and I am so excited that we are not going to have to clean this weekend since we are suppose to be in the 100's!

I know the suspense was killing you on what our roof color was going to be...I know it kept us up at night..In other news...Plumber is suppose to start today and they should get a good start on the roof at the back of the house. Everything on the outside should be done by the first week in July...I heard a hint of maybe a move in by the end of September...but I am not holding my breath!

Can't wait to see the changes that happen today! Tin goes up starting tomorrow. A friend is coming this afternoon to help finish picking out colors and making some final decisions and then I can just sit back and enjoy...

Sorry I have not posted anything lately...between camp and everything else...it has been a rat race. This week we should really see some changes..tin roof, windows finished, etc...Should have all the outside done by the end of the month!

I started my summer 4-H program today so no time to worry about a house. I guess that is good, because I have a feeling it is going to be a long slow process.

We can check school and machine pitch baseball (Garrett) off the list...Wes finishes Minor League up this week...Windows have been ordered for the house and we met with the kitchen cabinet maker over the weekend. I have my first day camp this Thursday and Friday!
