This morning Ferma Corporation started pouring concrete for the lower portion of the backfill. The recom- mendation in the soils report from Murray Engineers, Inc. calls for concrete up to about 6 feet below site grade. One of the foremen from Granite Rock told me they were estimating it would require 150 yards (over 4,000 cubic feet!) of concrete.
